I was an embedded contractor working for a few staffing agencies while working at Nike. I got exposure to production design, retail design, performance marketing, art direction, photo shoots, presentation design, identity, design consultation, directing external agencies' work, and even vetting vendors for creative technology pursuits.

I also stood in for design leadership for art direction and some days even the final approval for designs all over the Nike paid and unpaid eco-system.

Applying a brand look from AKQA for a membership campaign within the limitations of the authoring platform for .com.

Most times adding typography or even graphics was an impossibility due to responsive scaling cropping the image with little control . I always worked closely with the authoring team to discover modules we could use to get the best look and feel that still conveys the brand campaign's assets in the most elegant way.

I was an embedded contractor working for a few staffing agencies while working at Nike. I got exposure to production design, retail design, performance marketing, art direction, photo shoots, presentation design, identity, design consultation, directing external agencies' work, and even vetting vendors for creative technology pursuits.

I also stood in for design leadership for art direction and some days even the final approval for designs all over the Nike paid and unpaid eco-system.

ROLE: Digital Brand Designer

Internal logo for North America Digital Brand. Wanted to subvert the concept of digital with vintage technology drop-shadows with negative space; knowing that this was going to be overlaid on a multitude of presentations and backgrounds.

N7 running badge for use in the Nike Running application.

Review of earned and unearned states and mock-ups for authoring reference. Through the N7 Fund, Nike invests in nonprofits that serve Indigenous communities in North America.

Quick-win photoshoot for a Nike x Creed 2 (the movie) collaboration. Needed to create elevated assets since there wasn't any product photography available. Hardly any budget, but stuck to a gritty "boxing gym" look with color grade and a semi-organized laydown shot with boxing gloves and wrap tape on the concrete floor in the Nike NA Photo Studio.

For the HBCU stories presented by Air Shop, I helped with photography selection, retouching notes, compositions and copy editing with our writers. These stories celebrated each HBCU college graduates experiences and goals or aspirations with community and legacy.

Newer colorways of footwear don't always get a brand asset for their launch. Taking note of ACG's art direction, I composited the studio-photographed shoes and placed them within nature photography, emphasizing the footwear as points of interest.

Kybrid S2 'Sashiko' key art for the release of a new colorway for the popular basketball shoe. Art direction was to highlight the textural qualities of sashiko patterns with some subtle cell-shading for a light anime nod.
